Why every return gets three photos

Every package that arrives at a Boomerang warehouse is photographed as received, and every unit inside it twice more, before anyone grades it. The slots are fixed, and staff cannot complete an inspection without filling all of them. Here is what each one is for.

Photo 1: the package as received

Taken before the box is opened, with the label visible. It proves the package arrived, in what state, and under which tracking number. When a carrier crushed a parcel in transit, this photo is the basis for the claim.

Photo 2: the opened item

The product as it came out of the packaging, laid flat with any accessories. It settles the most common dispute of all: did the customer actually send back the item they said they did, and was it complete?

Photo 3: tags or defects

A close-up of the hang tags, seal, serial plate or the specific damage the customer reported. If a unit is graded Like new, this photo shows the intact tag. If it is graded Damaged, it shows what is wrong.

Together the three photos let you make a disposition decision from another continent with the same confidence as if you were standing at the bench, and they become evidence in a drawback claim when the unit goes home.
